That is the only way to describe this mini-series. Ann Marie Duff as Elizabeth is breathtaking and passionate. Tom Hardy captures the essennce that is Robert Dudley. It was a sigh of relief to see this time in history finally done correctly and given its proper due. If you are looking to find a good watch and get a very good rendition of Elizabethean England this is the mini-series for you. After all, no one does it like the BBC can.

I remembered seeing this on TV I think. And what I liked about this version was the performance from the lead actress. The story is interesting. Had no idea Tom Hardy was in it. Good movie.
