Overview

Midnight Run

Director Martin Brest, of Going in Style and Beverly Hills Cop fame, was in charge of Midnight Run. Robert De Niro stars as Jack Walsh, a hard-bitten bounty hunter offered $100,000 to bring in embezzler Jonathan Mardukas (Charles Grodin). Handcuffed to the wimpy Mardukas, Walsh assumes that the extradition trip from New York to Los Angeles will be an uneventful one. But the prisoner hasn't told Walsh the whole story: the embezzler owes $15 million to a mobster (Dennis Farina), and he's been targeted for assassination. It's a toss-up as to what is the most entertaining aspect of Midnight Run: the slam-bang action and chase sequences or the verbal byplay between DeNiro and Grodin.

I like nice actor played ex-cop became Bounty Hunter. he captured the bailed guy. they are more funny, more joke, less mad, and less pyschological like ''All About The Benjamins'' more comedy less drama you will enjoy watch ''Run Midnight''

One of my top 5 favorite movies ever. Non stop parade of great one-liners. You'll bust a gut.

This movie seemlessly blends action and comedy better than any movie I have ever seen. It is also one of DeNiro's best acting performances. This is one of my all-time favorites. It's a shame more people don't know about it.

I am a big DeNiro fan - who isn't? - because of his acting range. He has such comic timing in this movie that it's not to be missed. The plot of this movie is also good, as is the non-stop action. Some of the one-liners that DeNiro uses, with that straight face of his, are ones that you will quote for the rest of your life. This is one of my all-time favorite comedy AND action movies. Charles Grodin is also great, this movie is just great, I can't express it enough!
