As is often the case from Sterling Entertainment, the picture quality on Money Kings is excellent. There are no visible artifacts, while the colors look very clean and the darks, which mainly comprise the film, are solid. More good news is that this film is framed at 1.85:1, though it does not use an anamorphic transfer. The sound, as with most early discs from Sterling, is two-channel stereo. Nothing spectacular, even though there are moments of creative use from the right and left speakers. The soundtrack is only in English with Spanish subtitles. This DVD also has minimal and fairly standard extras. Beyond the somewhat detailed information on most of the main cast and some of the principal crew members, there is also an effective trailer. It may not be anything to get too excited about, but with the nice menus, it's an appealing package for a smaller film.
