Mother 4.7 out of 5 based on 0 ratings. 3 reviews.

The best line from the whole film is when he mother says, "I love you..." and Brooks replies, "I know you think you do...". It is side splitting and has stuck with me for so long now, that whenever I hear some female in my own neurotic family say it, that is what goes through my head.

Fun movie to see with the family (over 13), friends or for a fun date night. It'll make you laugh over and over. I saw this when it came out in 2001. It is still just as funny today. Debbie Reynolds & Albert Brooks are hilarious as mother / son.

This is the kind of movie that keeps coming back into your head for years later when you least expect it. There are poignant issues dealing with this guys' relationship with his mother that we all deal with on different levels with people in our lives. I really enjoyed the movie and now can't forget it-in a good way. I am buying it, not only to watch it again myself, but to also be able to loan it out to the people that I'm with, when during day to day life, events pop up that make me laugh as I remember this movie...
