His hit MTV series, Punk'd, proves that tricks are Kutcher’s stock-in-trade. Updating Allen Funt’s seminal Candid Camera for the backward-baseball-hat set, Kutcher and co-creator Jason Goldberg trained hidden cameras on celebrities, subjecting the rich and famous to some absolutely delicious pranks, often with hilarious results. The first eight episodes collected here feature Kutcher along with his fellow "field agents," Al Shearer and Dax Shepard, and a stunning parade of luminaries. While the series does hit its high point in Episode 1, featuring a mock "repossession" of Justin Timberlake’s house, the pranks -- even repeated ones -- remain relatively fresh throughout, right down to Rosario Dawson’s phony limo ride from hell in the season closer.
