This DVD is good for school or after-school instruction on the planets. The questions at the end of the video are good for educators to quiz or test students recall of the material covered in the DVD; you could use the questions as a test for a grade. This DVD is best, in my opinion, for third or fourth graders. The DVD has an update on the status of Pluto as a dwarf planet since 2006. Also, each planet "speaks" and tell some information about itself that could be used in addition to what maybe available in the students textbook or instructional material from the teacher.
A great way to get children interested in the solar system. Information is provided in a whimsical manner during the movie, and a presidential speech as well as NASA's plans are provided in the extras.
I thought this movie was great, it was very entertaning and very informative. I would reccommend this movie, especially if you have little kids.
Very catchy songs! Kids learn about the planets thru music.
