National Lampoon's Animal House/ Blues Brothers
These two outrageous comedies -- which paired actor John Belushi and director John Landis -- are brought together for this special twin-pack release. National Lampoon's Animal House and The Blues Brothers have both been transferred to disc in letterboxed format at the widescreen aspect ratio of 1.85:1, which has been enhanced for anamorphic playback on 16 x 9 monitors. The audio for both films has been remixed for playback in Dolby Digital 5.1. The dialogue for both movies is in English, with optional subtitles in English, French, and Spanish for Animal House, while The Blues Brothers features subtitles in French and Spanish only. The Animal House DVD features plenty of bonus material, including a documentary on the making of the film, a "Where Are They Now?" mockumentary which follows what happened to the characters after the end of the story, a trivia feature, a new music video for the song "Shout" from pop-punkers MxPx, and the original theatrical trailer. Meanwhile, The Blues Brothers' disc adds on a documentary of the movie's production, photos from the set, notes on the production, scenes cut from the final version of the film, and the original theatrical trailer.
