My daughter (6 years old) ask for this for Christmas, which suprised me because I thought she would be too old. She likes to watch it prior to going to bed- cute stories, fun but not over-stimulating, and she likes the characters. They are good stories, interesting, and fun. Plus I learned that even though it may be a little young, it is a nice change from the tween stuff she is normally inidated with (Hannah Montana, Suite Life, etc.) It is nice that she still enjoys the little kid stuff.
