Princess Blade is now one of my favorite samurai movies. I appreciated the content for my part. It depends on what you look for in a film. The story, blade splicing action, women with samurai swords, direction and choreography was good enough for me to enjoy. If you like the typical, boring, sugar-coated Hollywood ending..then this movie is NOT for you!! If you can appreciate a "sci-fi" film with an different ending, grab the dvd! I was satisfied with it and i do recommend this film for fans of this genre.

Well paced action and a clear story line make this a rare treat. The beautiful Yumiko Shaku only adds to the mix!

THE MOST DEPRESSING ENDING I HAVE EVER SEEN! The Action Rocks But It totally colapses at the end, BAD

The Princess Blade was one of the first Asian action films I saw. I loved it! The direction was cool, and Yumiko Shaku was pretty incredible in her first movie performance ever. Add fight sequences choreographed by Donnie Yen and you have a fun film. Girls with swords = Kick butt! -mags

Spectacular fight scenes!! The story was very interesting and not your traditional sappy happy ending. Very good film. (Not for the faint of heart)
