One of Queens final shows, Live at Wembley shows the group at thier best with a great DTS sound mix, enhanced picture quality and a ton of extra's. I have been waiting a long time for Wembley to come out on DVD and it was worth the wait. Disc one is the entire show remixed in DTS sound with enhanced picture quality, although not in widescreen. Disc two houses highlights from the Friday night show in which the crowd of 100,000 gets poured on while Freddie camps it up to the fullest. There is some great mercury ranting in this section. Also there is a documentry on the show that gives insight to grand scale of the show as well as a pleathera of backstage footage. Also interviews with Brian May, Roger Taylor and Gavin the director of the show looking back on Wembley and their thoughts on it now. I think they ramble a bit but it's Queen so respect! Their is poor quality reharsal footage but it is interesting to see the show come together on a small scale. If you can sit through this you have got to be a hardcore fan, and finally the distruction of Wembleys most noted landmarks the twin towers. Yes unfortunaltly Wembley stadium is gone, but this DVD will hold the memories of one of Queen's best shows forever. A must own for Queen fans.

If you by chance know an alien just coming from outer space and does not know what is Rock about (having just listened to the Bach listed in the Voyager gols disc), go right to this live recital. It represents the best Rock has ever tried. A culmination. Summa Rocki. The perfect marriage of poetry, lyrical mood, uplifting pulse. You need more concrete reasons??? 1: The chemistry between FM and his people. Here he is THE KING. 2: The best Queen selection of songs, and sang in a single event. You may argue that FM`s voice is not perfect. Who cares? Given the 2 powerful reasons given above, this is but a small quibble in what is a generational landmark.

Before I got this, I had it on album. The first time I saw the dvd of it, I wasn't that impressed and I got bored halfway into it. However, the more I watched it, the more I liked it and now, I listen to the album more too! My favourite parts are when Freddie wears the police hat and those 60's songs because Roger Taylor gets to stand with the rest of the band and you see them all together.

Let this put to rest question on who was in fact the best live rock band. The stage presence and vocals of Freddie Mercury have never and will never be equalled.

I have this concert on VHS and it's okay, I guess I not too high on this particular concert because Freddie's voice wasn't up to par and the recording isn't as good as Live in Budapest. I gotta say though, there is nothing like a Queen concert in Wembley Stadium. The fans really know how to get into a concert. I hope the First DVD release will be either Budapest or an earlier concert like the Christmas show at The Hammersmith Odeon (1976). I think their earlier shows would do very well in the U.S.

This is one of the truly great concerts of one of the greatest bands of all time! They should put this and all the other shows and videos in DVD!! It would be so cool when you watch it in DVD and with the great sound system the DVD has to offer!!

This is a fantastic concert, however it is incomplete. This concert was 110 minutes which can only be aquired on the double LP or CD,but what is here will delight ANY Queen fan from both the song selection and performance points of view.Done during ''The Magic Tour'' this concert has wonderful songs such as ''Who Wants To Live Forever'' and ''A Kind Of Magic'' from the 1986 album of the same name, and the all-time hits ''We Will Rock You'' and ''We Are The Champions''.There is also some silly talk on stage that adds to the show as well as the famous ''Quick stage set up'' clip at the beginning.A true example of a master showman and his band.
