This double DVD is a great viewing experience - it takes you through the life and musical maturation of one of the last century's musical giants Ravi Shankar. Narrated by the maestro himself, as well as comments from other notables in the field, the first disc takes us through Shankar's life's many memorable moments. His passion for, and joy in music comes through undimmed by his age. The photography is excellent as well. The second DVD, a concert, is also a viewing and listening pleasure, although a little less of Anoushka's rapturous face on the screen would have been better... Overall, I highly recommend it.
