This flick was an amazing musical rendition of the original 1936 Reefer Madness. It is comically exaggerated and full of wit. The music is not only funny but well written from a musical point of view. YOU HAVE TO SEE THIS FILM!!! Yes, the subject matter is still an issue today, and yes, a lot of people may be offended by it. But, it is overexaggereated and completely satirical, which is the root for most of the humor. Don't miss out on Jesus, Satan, Joan of Arc, FDR, Jimmy, and Mary Lane!!!

If you aren't the sort of person who enjoys musicals, this may not be the best movie for you, although it is very blatant and funny. If you are the sort of person who enjoys musicals, though, this is definitely one that you'll want to add to your collection. The songs are interesting and get stuck in your head very easily. For those who find some of the material offensive, all I can say is get over it. Not to sound "cliche," but this movie is "real." It captures how easily manipulated people are when it comes to things in life that are "taboo," and exploits them. I'm sure if you give it a chance, you'll be quite surprised.

To say the least the movie just didn't match the hype I thought it would. The youtube clip I saw was awesome, but the movie was a let down. It had some spots that dragged on too long, in my opinion, but it was okay. Overall this movie version is okay, best if you want something playing while you take care of misc projects. IE perfect background noise.

Rocky Horror Picture Show meets Little Shop of Horrors meets Jesus Christ Super Star! It's fun, funny, and I want to be in it.
