This DVD is a must-have for anyone who really appreciates an awesome display of guitar magic. The live recordings of "Bridge of Sighs" and "Daydream" are reason enough for owning this. The bonus is that there are eleven other great live tracks to appreciate, plus an excellent interview. A remarkable performer who continues to satisfy..."We were spellbound."
It's great to see Robin Trower still performing. He certainly hasn't dropped off at all. Blazing guitar work. The only disappointment being that his former lead singer passed away. His replacement fills in admirably.
I've been a Rboin Trower fan since growing up in the seventies and putting this disc in brought back some great memories. Trower walks all over his guitar like no one else. I've got about 100 music DVD's and this one is a must for anyone who appreciates good ol' rock and roll. The sound quality is great for being recorded in a small club.
No flash or cliches here. Simply a jaw dropping display of guitar playing prowess by one of the best ever guitar players. Trower is like good wine, He gets better with age. The song selection is excellent and includes a good balance of old and new compositions. The unrecorded song "Close every door"is a killer and showcases the mesmerizing power of Robin Trower's playing. Unfortunately he has gone underrated for a long time and deserves his place among the more recognized but less accomplished contemporaries such as Eric Clapton and Jimmy Page.
