Septic Man 5 out of 5 based on 0 ratings. 1 reviews.

I give this 5 stars because the medical community has withdrawn its recommendation to use ipecac (emetic and expectorant syrup) to induce vomiting (to expel poisons). This movie definitely works to evacuate your stomach. My 5 stars is for the septic hero, since there is no Academy Award for surviving swimming in sewage, I mean for enduring makeup horrors. Jeff Goldblum should have won that Best Actor Award for THE FLY. Now this gagging delight could be part of an anorexic diet plan. They say that great actors come and go, but in this case it's all the people in the city above, who then flush. They don't have to do the real dirty work to save themselves. As Bugs Bunny was once advised by Yosemite Sam, somebody's gotta do that high diving act. Into the sewage. The more-moral version of Tom Hanks' SPLASH and CAST AWAY, this one is. I wonder if the ushers in movie theaters handed out the same little barf bags as are used on airplanes. Oh, that's right, there are no ushers and soon no theaters, thanks to discs and Netflix.
