Being a Cary Grant and Joan Fontaine fan, I found this movie exceptionally enjoyable. The two have an unmistakable chemistry together, while Hitchcock again draws you in, and then surprises us all with a very satisfying ending.

Cary Grant stars as an irresponsible playboy. He manages to marry a moderately well-off English girl - (Joan Fontaine) - who her parents feared would always be a spinster. Grant's constant money troubles make his bride suspect he's planning to murder her. Is he?

This film stars Cary Grant as suave, spendthrift playboy Johnnie Aysgarth. He woos and marries wealthy Lina McLaidlaw (Joan Fontaine). Lina then begins to think she's wed a murderer, when Johnnie's cloudy past begins to slowly creep into the present. Now she starts to wonder if there are ulterior motives in everything her handsome husband says and does. Another fine film from director Alfred Hitchcock featuring wonderful performances from all and a beautiful setting.
