This wouldn't feel half bad if it had been a spinoff of "Bewitched" featuring different charcters maybe the grownup daughter of Serena, or even Minerva's daughter with alittle explantion of the relationship to Samantha. Sam having a never before seen sister would go down easier than what we've been given here. The series takes several liberties on the original "Bewitched" storyline in order to have an "all grownup" Tabitha and Adam Stephens. First, the offspring of Darrin and Samantha have grown from early grade schooler and toddler to adults in 5 years. Then, Adam is presented as the older mortal brother of Tabitha. Adam was born 3 or 4 seasons after Tabitha and was later certified by Aunt Hagatha as warlock. A series to feature Tabitha would have been much better if they had waited a few more years for Erin Murphy to grow up. All this aside, "Tabitha" is still a pleasant, entertaining show with some funny moments and likeable actors. It just doesn't have the wit and charm of the original that featured a somewhat rebellious Tabitha who was as much the grandaughter of Endora as Samantha's daughter. Still kids and extreme diehard fans who want all things "Bewitched" will enjoy it. Sam and Darrin are mentioned but never seen. Dr. Bombay and Mr. & Mrs. Kravitz are guests.
