Disc 1 is defective. No way to open the program because of missing icons/cursor next to Programme etc. Disc 2 does have the icons and therefore Act 2 can continue when you click on it. (We tried three times to get this opera from Amazon with the same results. Virgin Classics evidently has not fixed this problem. I wonder whether the Met knows about this. Barnes and Noble says the source is Erato and that is why we bought it from them; however, it is actually a Virgin Classic, as were the discs from Amazon. Why do they keep selling a defective product? Seems this is a bit fraudulent.
