One of the fascinating themes in this alarming version is that the terror is all the stepmother's. Young Lilli is not the most sympathetic of heroines, and Claudia spends most of the movie sure that the evil fates are out to get her. Sigourney Weaver's descent into madness is fun to watch, and poor Sam Neill's Father character never knows quite what is happening to his family. Isn't that the way it always is!

this was a pretty good movie based off of the story of snow white but goes deeper than the disney movie. the performances weren't half bad, and the locations including the costumes were cool and so wanted to see more of will and lili one of my fave movie couples. sorta off topic but wanted to say it, when i first saw will could of sworn he looked like a mix of oded fehr "awesome in mummy, charmed and resident evil 2-3", russel crowe, but mostly karl urban "good in xena, lotr and doom". had no idea that this was a tv movie and a first that i actually like next to speak "another good one with kristen stewart". they should make more fairy tales/movies like this. seriously

This is how more films based on fairy tales should be, hence they were originally dark. Lily takes an instant dislike to her step mother. An unfortunate tragedy happens and Lily realizes how she's treated Claudia. However the step mother slowly goes off the deep end and wants her dead. After escaping into the forest Lily meets the "dwarves." This movie was creepy and yet you feel a little sorry for the step mother and how unlikeable the main character is, at first. Loved the twist on the girl falling for the prince. The locations looked cool. One of Sigourney's best roles.

This movie was terrific. I think that the actors did great gobs portraying their characters. I love the fact that Lilli doesn't fall for the most perfect guy like in every other story.I also like that is has a scary edge to it because I like scary and romantic movies and the movie combined them. I would definitly recommend this movie to people over the 13 because it gets sort of intense. Thanks for letting me share my thoughts.

i love this movie, and i love how lilli gets with the cute thief will, but i dont understand how claudia would have anything to do with lilli's mothers death. but all in all it was the bomb.
