Overview

The Hollywood Knights

Fran Drescher, Michelle Pfeiffer, and Tony Danza are the most notable aspects of this forgettable teen drama that features a gang of youths in a car club who decide to battle it out with the establishment in Beverly Hills. It seems their favorite haunt, the last drive-in restaurant in the neighborhood, has been forced to close. Their rebellion is marked by tactics that might be embarrassing to any serious rebels: they turn a high school banner into an X-rated statement, sabotage a police car, ruin a manicured garden, and urinate in a punch bowl. These shenanigans take place on Halloween in 1965, a time when practical jokes are usually in the hands of elementary school kids -- and that level of maturity is maintained here.

The best car movie ever made, and the most fun! If you are not into oldies and Hot rods you may not get it but if you are you will not be disappointed. This movie will make you feel 16 again and still brings back memories of our own car club to this day. Don't listen to the critics, I remember when they trashed another movie I love ' STAR WARS '.

For anyone who loves the 60's era, this movie is a classic. The actors contain a combination of who's who in Hollywood today. The antics in this movie will have you in tears and you will need to rest your rib cage from all the laughter. Twenty-three years after the original release and my first viewing, my husband's friends are still talking about the movie that is absolutely an epic for them. We have this movie on Beta, VHS, and now DVD. Buy it, rent it, no matter how you get your hands on it you will love it!!!!!

Michelle Pfeiffer's first movie. What a beauty. Tony Danza was the "name star" but Robert Wuhl and Stewart Pankin steal the movie. Just plain, dumb, goofy fun with a great soundtrack - and a young, pretty Michelle Pfeiffer. Shoot, it's not art, it's not a classic, but it is just a really enjoyable pizza and beer movie that leaves you with a smile.
