This is such a good movie, portraying the heroic struggles of women and the affects their life choices made in the lives of their daughters. If you want to see a movie with meaning that can make you cry and laugh and really make you think about your own life this is the one. I have seen it several times and am still amazed each time by the stories of these women and how there is a valuable, beautifully entertaining lesson in it for us all. Well Done!!!

"The Joy Luck Club" has to be the best movie I have ever seen, and probably will be the only one of it's kind. The story is beautiful and timeless and I encourage everyone to see it. It makes you think of the relationships of your family and how, even though this is a movie, it can impact you beyond belief. It will rock you to the core of your being and I am living proof.

I first saw this film when it was released and enjoyed it so thoroughly, that I went back the next week to view it again. The vignettes are universal, women that have to make painful sacrifices, but that the history of ours mothers is so much more painful than our own, we have so many better options and freedom to decide. It makes me cry each time, especially since I lost my mom, and knowing that her life was so difficult in comparison to my own. The message is what you make of it, but I think it is to value your own life and choose wisely, with quality! I love this film.

I love this movie. I've seen it a dozen times and each time I see it I am moved to tears. This is a movie that will open your eyes to the deep and sometimes unseen bonds that tie mothers and daughters together. Watch this with your mother, your grandmother, your daughter, your granddaughter, your sister, your female friends - and keep a box of tissues nearby...you'll need them. Uplifting and heartbreaking at the same time. This movie is in my Top 5 All-time Favorites.

Best Movie I've Ever Seen. Made me laugh, made me cry, and also made me see that I need to go after what I want and never settle for a worthless man! Stacey McHenry

One of those movies that I will never forget. I also read the book and I am not the type of person who watches movies, not even buy movies.
