Remastered into 1.85:1 widescreen, the color and photography are rendered extremely well. For an older film, there are an impressive number of special features. Included are production notes, talent files, the theatrical trailer, original story source material, and a documentary that features baseball great Cal Ripken Jr. The extra material is a wonderful addition to the DVD, and worth the price. TriStar obviously took care with this production, and it shows. Another special feature that shows the thought that went into this package -- the DVD itself is printed to look like a baseball. The Dolby Digital 5.1 soundtrack is presented in French, English, Spanish, and Portuguese. Subtitles are provided in Spanish, English, French, Portuguese, Chinese, Korean, and Thai.
