Thank you Mel Gibson & your staff, for making the best movie about Christ. I seen the Passion 3 times at the cinema. It wasn't enough, I know when I get the DVD I will watch it countless times. Each time I seen The Passion it felt like I never seen it before. I learned something new everytime. The Passion is a movie of epic proportions, a very artistic movie and one that makes you feel that you are actually there with Christ. Not just someone in a theater. The actors are outstanding. The Passion is a movie I wish everyone in the whole universe could see. Christ paid a really big price to forgive us for our sins. I also want to say that the original soundtrack is wonderful. The Passion changed me & everyone I spoke to that seen it too. The movie really touched me in ways I can't explain. The Passion is my favorite movie of all time. When you see The Passion for yourself you'll see why I feel that way. Most likely you'll cry a little maybe even a lot. That's okay because, if you look around you'll notice there's hardly a dry eye in the house. Just about everybody has tears running down their face too. I mean this movie is a MASTERPIECE. I really can't say enough things about this movie. It is so convincing. I just love it. Hollywood was scared to make this movie, but that didn't stop Mel Gibson the genius. This movie came together at a time when it was really needed. It even moved up to number one again the weekend of Easter at the box office. That is a statement in it self. I hope the Oscars are ready for the Passion, because it will be the biggest winner in Oscar history, with nominations and wins. Mel could you include a lot of special features in the DVD, you know like interviews, make-up, wardrobe, set designs, the extras, etc. By the way I expect The Passion to be the biggest selling DVD of all time. May God Bless our world.

This movie is the most accurate account of what the Holy Bible and Christians all over the world hold to be true and righteous. You were compelled from the moment the film began until the closing credits. Thank God for using the media to portray a glimpse into what the times were like. Thank you Mel Gibson for allowing yourself to be used. This movie is not for the 'faint at heart'. It deals with the real torture that our Christ had to suffer. Let's get ready saints!

The Passion of the Christ is truly the excellent movie ever. Mel Gibson did an excellent job in directing this film along with Jim Caviezel portrayal of Jesus Christ. When I saw the movie, I felt so sad, helpless and anger with all the torture that Jesus Christ had to go through and the crucifixion during his last day. After the movie, it helped me take away the sin of the lord. Jesus Christ died and saved us for our sin. I love it. May the lord be with you always.

The greatest event portrayed in a very powerful, moving way. This film is an absolute must see. One of the top 5 films ever made. It will help you gain grater appreciation for the pain and suffering our LORD willingly endured for you and I.

Credit to Mel Gibson for having the b*lls to show the extreme brutality that Jesus - or, I suppose, any other prisoner of the day - endured. The human condition must've been rather miserable, by today's standards, for everyone, never mind a condemned criminal.

The Passion of The Christ represents the love He has for those that killed. They didn't know they were fulfilling the prophecy and that it had to be done. Not by their will, but God's. The movie was played out very well.

All I can say is thank you to Mel Gibson for having a vision of how he thought this true story should be told and for having the courage to bring it to the big screen. Thanks to Jim Caviezel for opening himself to portray our awesome savior, Jesus Christ.

The thing that I appreciated the most about the movie is how Biblically accurate Gibson was. Granted he used some literary license to fill in some gaps but where the truth was concerned, He was right on the money. I do wish that he had spent more time on the ressurection scene but have been told that he may have opened a door to another movie of the incredible life of Jesus. I sure do hope so! Thanks again Mel.

I have not seen all the movies ever made, but this is the best I have seen. Gripping, powerful, difficult to watch, but filled with a sense of a Love beyond comprehension.

I have to tell you, I've seen many movies that portrays Jesus' life, but none come close to this. This movie really touched me. I knew what he had done for us but had no idea of the pain and humiliation he endured before his death. (And to think he did it for us.) This movie drove me closer to him, and I plan to watch over and over to get even closer to him. God bless Mel Gibson and cast for having the encourage to film this movie. I can hardly wait for the movie to come out on DVD. I encourage everyone who has not seen it to watch it. So you'll know what the Christ did for you and how much he loves. God bless.

What an impeccable timing for this movie to come out in our times of becoming more and more secularized, 'sin-free' culture; the ever growing profanity on TV, the nudity and sexual contents on movies, the violence of Pop/Rap/Hip-Hop/Rock music, etc. This movie is so powerful that it makes us aware of the daily battles (we don't see) between the diabolical and the Divine over us. This movie reverts us into believing that good does triumph over evil. It makes us understand better the value of love and sacrifice, and the price that was shed for our redemption. If seen with an open mind and with an accepting heart, it will shed light instead of confusion, and it will bring hope and life to our growing culture of death. Mel Gibson stood up to his faith (amidst all the challenges, criticisms, even threats) and delivered to us what is known and believed to be 'The Greatest Story Ever Told.'

i thought the movie was wonderfully directed by Mel Gibson. It is not only history that was involved in the movie but now we all have a first hand view on what happened to jesus on good friday. i would recommend all people see it but keep your children away until reaching a mature age because even adults were very moved by it. If a child sees this movie he or she may have nightmares, but if a parent feels comfortable showing this to their child than all the power to them.

Simply put this movie allows us to reflect on the love the Savior had for us. We lose that in the daily grind of life.Kudos to Mel Gibson for following his gut instinct.

From the moment a shackled and beaten Jim Caviezel (who portrays Christ) is thrown over a bridge, dangled there, and then pulled back up again to be brutalized some more, (was Christ actually thrown over a bridge? Is that in the gospel?) my suspension of disbelief went out the window, and I realized two things: 1., this is Mr. Gibson's VERSION of the Passion, and 2., this man has issues that I don't want to know about. I'm sure that if Mr. Gibson had been young enough he would have relished playing Christ himself. For years he has given himself over to scarification in his action movies, and this would have been the ultimate act of (fake) self torture. The violence is so extreme that all sense of reality is lost. For me, this was no religious event, but a Mel Gibson production that deals with a religious subject. It is competent, nothing more. Anyone looking for any sort of truth would do best to open their bibles or meditate on the Stations of the Cross. If Mr. Gibson is hoping that this film reaches as many people as possible, I suggest he show the movie for free and distribute copies of this DVD at no charge.

After reading many of the other reviews and hearing how sad and physically sick this movie made some people I would like to say that I that it made me feel grateful, happy( for lack of a better word) and truly loved that anyone would suffer so much for me.

This is a film about torture, attempting to guilt trip us into being Christians. If one should make a film about the glory of Christ, make it about the love man feels for Him, not about the guilt we feel for Him having to die.
