The Phoenix Lights
As darkness fell over Arizona on the evening of March 13, 1997, thousands of people from across the state reported witnessing a silent formation on lights in the sky that stretched a mile wide and glided silently in a v-formation. The next day, the story made headlines across the country, and Dr. Lynne Kitei realized that the bizarre phenomenon she had been documenting for months wasn't merely a figment of her overactive imagination. Based on Dr. Kitei's 2004 book The Phoenix Lights: A Skeptic's Discovery that We Are Not Alone, this documentary presents actual footage of the mysterious lights while offering expert commentary by military men, pilots, astronauts, and scientists as they ponder additional sightings in the Arizona skies and ponder the implications of such mass sightings. Additional interviews with Arizona Governor Fife Symington, moon walker Dr. Edgar Mitchell, Sc.D., a commercial and Vietnam pilot, as well as the operator who was on duty that fateful night in March of 1997 offer compelling insight into the possibility that we may not be alone in the universe.
