DreamWorks researched this animated film extensively before putting it onto film and the result is a “fairly” accurate attempt to retell the story of Moses (voiced by Val Kilmer) who was sent by God of the Hebrews to deliver His people from the bondage of slavery under Pharaoh. What’s different in this film is that it focuses on the relationship between Moses and Ramses (voiced by Ralf Fiennes), who grew up loving each other as brothers only to face each other later in life as enemies. Parents and kids alike should enjoy this entertaining and visually breathtaking film. G- (uh, well it’s G. Enjoy it.)

This movie is, without comparison, one of the best movies of my time. This movie is so heart wrenchingly amazing and beautiful that it actually helped my atheistic friend realize the beauty and emotion that she missed from having religion. A Movie Going MASTERPIECE!!! 2 Thumbs up! I encourage all, young and old, religious or not, to allow this film into your heart. It is guaranteed to become an automatic favorite.

This is by far the closest to the real story in Exodus. I loved how clearly it shows God, using Moses, helps His people.

This movie was amazing. My teacher showed it to me after we studied egypt and it all mader sense. The music was the best part.

If there was ever to be a movie about Moses, this would have to be it. With a great musical component, the Prince of Egypt will keep both those young and old enthraled in Moses' journey from being the adopted son of Pharoah, to his time in the desert, and to his final attempts to free the Hebrews from slavery in Egypt.
