The Scorpion King

The Scorpion King comes to DVD with a standard full-frame transfer. English and French soundtracks are rendered in Dolby Digital 5.1. Spanish subtitles are accessible, and the English soundtrack is closed-captioned. Supplemental materials include a commentary track recorded by The Rock, a second commentary with director Chuck Russell, outtakes, a handful of featurettes, and a music video from the band Godsmack. This Universal release is fine for what it is, but there is a widescreen edition of the film available with the same extra materials. That edition is superior to this one.

I first wanted to see this movie in movie theaters but I had nobody to take me. Then I got this movie for Christmas and I instantly fell in love with it. I you like cool music by Godsmack and action that never stops, buy this game for goodness sake!

I know that that movie rocked!I have both The Mummy Returns & The Scorpion king. All my friends thinks he's hot & so do I.But asid from that they both were auwsome movies!I've watched them so much I cant recite egyptian words from the movie.

I think the Scorpion King was much better than the Mummy or the Mummy Returns. Although the Scorpion King didn't have a mummy I think it was much better. For 1 thing the Scorpion King was in the daylight and the Mummy and the Mummy returns were both in the dark so you can't see anything.

You may think that Scorpion King is a great action packed movie, but you'd be wrong though! It's the typical action film with a lot of action and no plot at all. This film was really disappointing. The film is a big waste of time. The only good thing is that it will shoot The Rock's film career. But the rest of the film is so dumb. It is so predictable that you will know th ending of the film before the film starts. As a bit of advice, never rent or buy such a horrible film that will probably be the worst film of 2002.

This is a really good family film - I expected it to be violent, but it wasn't really and the whole family enjoyed it. The Rock is a brilliant action hero, Michael Clarke Duncan is a very powerful Balthazar and his stunning female warriors are an original feature. Steven Brand (he was Adam Cook in Casualty) is a very evil but sexy Memnon. Very convincing acting from everyone; I hope to see the Rock and Steven Brand in other films. The humour makes this a special film, some of which is supplied by Arpid the horse thief. There is a boy street urchin who is a cute little scene stealer. My only disappointment is that the sex scene between Mathyus and Cassandra is not shown. (nor could I find it in the bonus material)The music helps to make up for this though.

I loved every moment of this movie!!! It's tame enough for kids to watch and exciting enough for adults. Who needs blood and gore in every movie?? The Rock was great for his first true movie role (I don't count the 1 Word he spoke in The Mummy Returns). With more gigs and a little more training, I think he will go far! If You're looking for a fun ride, this movie is it!
