The fine line between good and evil slips into an indistinguishable blur as a vigilante crime-fighter known only as "The Boxer" makes it his personal mission to clean up the mean streets of Manchester, England by embarking on a violent hunt for the city's most powerful drug dealer, "The Needler." Luke Lang was a bare-knuckle boxer who suffered a vicious beating that left him clinging to life by a thread, and rendered him unable to register physical pain. Meanwhile, Luke's wife Poppy has fallen victim to a treacherous wolf in sheep's clothing named Maurice Stamp. The outwardly benevolent head of a drug rehabilitation center for HIV patients, Stamp has stealthily transformed his trusting patients into a malevolent force for evil. By day Luke does his best to repair his relationship with his pregnant wife, but when night falls over the city he takes to the street as "The Boxer" in an effort to take down "The Needler" and ensure the safety of law-abiding citizens. As media speculation grows over the true identity of the violent vigilante known as "The Boxer," Luke prepares to confront Maurice on his own turf in a frenzied battle for the soul of the city.
