This volume is good, but far from great. I own all four volumes from this collection, but I should have stopped after volume two. The first set was absolutely amazing. The second volume contained hits and misses. The last two sets were just disappointing.

Before watching these 5 movies you must have in mind that these movies were acted by some of the most popular crime drama stars of the 30's and 40's namely Bogart, Raft and Robinson and produced by the most socially conscience Movie Studio in existence. Kid Galahad was Directed by Michael(casablanca)Curtiz. Amazing Dr. Clitterhouse had John(treasure of sierra madre)Huston as its screenwriter. Larceny Inc. was and still is one of the funniest crime comedies ever made. Invisible Stripes was originally a book written by Warden Lewis E. Lawes of Sing Sing Prison. Little Giant was Robinson's follow up to his classic Little Ceasar. On top of all that there is also a Documentary titled Public Enemies, what more can you ask for. You must also buy the previous volumes in this DVD series to complete your Gangster library
