The Three Stooges: Stooges in History is a collection of five short two-reelers starring the various incarnations of the classic comedy trio in different historical time periods. In Squareheads of the Round Table (1948), Moe, Larry, and Shemp are hired by a blacksmith in the Middle Ages. In I'm a Monkey's Uncle (1948), Larry, Moe, and Shemp are cavemen who steal the women of their neighboring cave dwellers. In Restless Knights (1935), Larry, Moe, and Curly are the poor bodyguards of an abducted medieval queen. In Matri-phony (1942), Larry, Moe, and Curly are potters on the run from the lusty Ancient Roman Emperor. In Fiddlers Three (1948), Larry, Moe, and Shemp are fiddlers in the court of Old King Cole.
