'2 Hitmen' is an extremely funny film with just enough heart to make it a wonderfully enjoyable film experience. Shot well beyond the studio system's walls, this small independent feature stars and unknown very talented cast who put forth top performances. Brody and Craig are two lazy Gen Y'ers who want very little to do with the 'generic' way of growing up. Their goals seem to be working at the local movie theater "same job they've had since high school", smoking pot, playing video games, and lusting over girls they can't have. Things accelerate when they decide they'd like to try their hand as being hitmen. They take their duo act to training as they believe hitmen would. After this round of humor, the film evolves into an ensemble piece. It's the perfect timing to keep the freshness of the film alive. An older Asian man reminiscent of Mister Miagi appears along with a very funny Italian foreign exchange student. Added to the mix is a slow Mexican man they work with and you have a very funny hit-squad. They all train together until they reach the point of no return and face numerous of life's realities and fears. '2 Hitmen' is more then just a frat-comedy "which there is some of" and goes to great lengths to show freshness and heart throughout. This is a quality low budget feature that I highly recommend to other viewers.
