It's about time! Science Fiction where the science is key. Light years ahead of the cartoon crowd.

Oh my god. Oh my [explative deleted for your protection] god! I have never seen anything even remotely like this before. Here, Mokoto Shinkai manages to pour more power and emotion into 25 minutes of beautiful animation than all three Lord of The Rings films combined. I know it sounds impossible, but it must be seen to truly believe. Heartbreaking does not even begin to describe this film, which had me, a person who does not cry often, in tears all the way through the first time, and still summons them on every viewing. In fact, I start to cry even thinking about it sometimes. The soundtrack perfectly complements the film, shattering what small bits of your heart may have survived the initial assault, culminating in one of the most emotional conclusions ever put to film. This should be required viewing to be alive. Everyone I have shared this film with feels the same way. Also included is 'She and her cat', a short peice by the same man, that is also worth seeing.

''Voices of a Distant Star'' is and excellent piece of work. Filled with emotion and wonderful graphics, it's a must-see anime film. The story line is absolutely perfect. I cried the first time I watched it, and I have to be really careful unless I want to end up crying again! This is one anime that will certainly bring tears to your eyes.

Liked the graphic, storyline, and music, too (where can I buy the soundtrack? anybody knows?). One thing... Main character's wearing highschool as uniform piloting the tracer... Hmmm.
