Good lord this was awful, poorly done in all the ways that matter. The narration is painful to listen to, the "motion" looks like it was done by a couple of 15 year old kids with a cracked copy of Final Cut Pro. It's like and exec said were too lazy and cheap to do real animation lets just do this disrespectful thing instead.
One thing i would like to make clear is that this review is strictly for the DVD and not the Graphic novel. The graphic novel is and will always be the best. However the Motion comic DVD is not the best, but comes close if it wasnt for one very awkward flaw. First the pros, the presentation is amazing. The process of taking the indivisual panels of the graphic novel and adding motion to the drawings was flawlessly done. The musical score that accompanied the story telling was very engaging and appropriate for the DVD. The narrator, who also does ALL of the voice overs, did an amazing job.... now the cons... There really is only one con. Producing this DVD, only one man was chosen to do ALL of the voice overs... let that sink in for a moment.... this includes the female parts. As your watching, you can't help but feel a little awkward in the way the females sound in the entire presentation. This is the main reason why i gave this 4 stars instead of 5. I can't really blame the narrator, as a matter of fact i'll give him an A+ for effort, He really did a great job in translating the many different characters into sound.... but it's still very uncomfortable on the females. Despite the one flaw i higly reccommend this to anyone. but please, first read the graphic novel in its entirety
Truly worth the money
