The movie "Where God Left His Shoes is one of the best films I have seen in recent times. Many in today's hard economic times can relate to the plight of the family in the storyline. The acting by all is top notch. John Leguizamo plays Frank Diaz, who tries to make it as a boxer, but has fallen out of favor of his promoter. Now he must find another job to support his family. Leguizamo's action of Diaz's struggle and passion to do so is beautifully depicted. Leonor Varela play's Diaz's wife Cleopatra. She is trying to deal with both her husband's misfortunes, and the caring for her chidren of a former marriage. It takes a great toll on her. The children, played by David Castro and Samantha Rose show how struggling with the hard times of today can effect many who are of their ages. The viewer is kept on the edge of his/her seat from scene to scene, to what direction the fortunes of the Diaz family will take. The ongoing theme through all the ups and downs of the family is love, which is a great reminder for everyone.
