Editorial Reviews

Barnes & Noble - Donald Liebenson
Easter? Bah, humbug! No, wait, wrong holiday. But Rabbit is certainly acting like a Scrooge on this fine spring day in the Hundred Acre Wood. While Winnie the Pooh, Piglet, Tigger, Roo, and even Eeyore all merrily prepare for their annual Easter egg hunt, Rabbit proclaims it "Spring-Cleaning Day" instead. When Pooh and company find Rabbit's hidden Easter decorations, they decide to surprise him. Rabbit responds by throwing them out of his house and canceling Easter. Roo, in particular, is disheartened, but as Tigger reassures him, "Everything changes in Springtime" even Rabbit." Indeed, Rabbit has a Dickens of a nightmare in which he is presented with a grim picture of Easter future, with all his former friends departed. He awakens in time to make amends. This heartwarming produced-for-video basket-stuffer is as irresistible and sugar-coated as one of those marshmallow Easter treats, and probably about as nutritious. But these beloved characters, with their indefatigable cheer, will add a little bounce to your holiday.
