This is the best yoga video that I've seen yet. There are beginning, intermediate and advanced workouts so that you can work your way up slowly to more complicated poses. The workouts range from 20 minutes to over an hour so you can do longer workouts when you have more time. The instructor is very good at suggesting modifications to the poses for people with bad knees and so that you don't injure your lower back and your neck. My only complaint is that there isn't a menu to choose segments by pose so that you can practice poses you need more work on without fast forwarding through multiple workouts.

The DVD has a neat concept. However, it is very repetitive with the various moves in the program.

I am new to the yoga scene and felt I needed a video that I could try out as a beginner. My friend recommended ''Yoga For Everybody'' becuase of the versitility of the workouts. When I need more of a challenge, I set my workout accourdingly. I definately recommend this DVD because of customizable routines.

I got this DVD as a Christmas gift, and I just love it. I am a beginner to yoga, and this one walks you through what to do, AND what not to do. She stresses 'taking your ego' out of it, so you don't end up hurting yourself. Also, because there are so many routines to choose from, I haven't gotten bored. For years I have suffered from neck pain, and the 'oh my aching neck' routine has been a blessing. I highly recommend this DVD for yoga beginners like me.

This is a wonderful DVD. There are a number of different workouts at each level. There are even special meditation workouts and workouts specially designed for practice during menstration. The focus is staying in tune with your body and doing the excersizes in the way that your body can do them. You are given plenty of time to get into the pose and practice each pose. The intermediate and advanced workouts include shoulder stands and backbends and safe ways to build up the strength and balance you need to do these poses. Using this video, I was really able to see an improvement in my flexibility and strength. This is a great dvd to use on your own or in addition to classes.

This DVD is divided into 3 levels, so you never get bored and can always step-up the level when you feel like it. There are also many workouts, however most of the programs use a lot of the same stances. The instructor is an everyday person who explains the stances completely. The physically fit, out-of-shape, young, and old can appreciate the tone and manner in which yoga is presented. I have already gotten my money's worth out of this one.
