This season has a very slow start, but grows and ends well. The first half of this season seems like a joke. At the beginning Robin, Aqua-lad, and kid-flash are lead to a clone of Superman. Then the Martian Man Hunter's niece and an archer called Artemis join them. For half the season these characters all seamed forced, and just teen knock offs of the Justice League. The second half however is quite good. The audience learns about each character: The others eventually learn that Artemis's entire family are criminals, and then she overcomes her heritage. Robin saves the circus where The Flying Graysons had starred. Superboy takes the name Conor Kent, learns he genetically only half Kryptonian. Lex Luthor gives him a box of shields. They give him full Kryptonian Power, for about an hour, and also cause a massive increase in aggression. Those were the ultimate temptation for Conor, and almost a drug. Eventually Superboy has the strength to give up the shields, and then bonds with Superman. Miss martian reveals she's a persecuted martian race, and reveals the origin of the human form she chose/loves - the form she sees herself as in her mind. Also she and Conor become a very cute couple. By the end of the season, Young Justice is working actively with the Justice League. In the final episode, Young Justice saves the Justice League and the Earth.
