This is the 7th and final book in an awesome, adventurous, and fantastic series that I am oh so glad I read. Jesse Sullivan (our heroine and former death replacement agent) is one tough cookie! She is funny, kicks butt, and is still trying to figure life and love out. She has a huge decision to make (without all the facts of course as her “angel” has not told her everything—if she can even believe what he has related). Well, her best friend Ally and on/off lover has her heart. She would do anything for her and vis versa. But should she “blow up and recreate a better world (hopefully that is what would happen) or save this one that is destroying herself by dying again and shielding the world from supernatural forces that would destroy it? Most everyone seems to be against her…why can’t she just hook up with Ally and live a quiet, peaceful existence? Well, all will be answered in this final book. It is a page-turner and a half! I loved it! It answered what happed to the characters we came to know so well in this series and gave us a satisfying conclusion. While this series contains supernatural abilities/beings, it is not overdone (my opinion) and has so much human story woven into it I found it easy to relate to and love many of the characters (and hate a few too). I highly recommend this book and the entire series.

Once I read the first book in the series, Jesse Sullivan got to me. I liked her the most because she didn't take any bs from anyone. She speaks her mind, even though it might get her into hot water. The concept of "dying for a living" was so different from everything I've ever read. I won't give any spoilers, but if you read the entire series, you will be in for a great ride. Pick up the first book for free, and enjoy. It's hard to put any of them down for the night.

this was a well written book and the conclusion to the series was great. Sad to see the characters go but all in all it was a great series to read.

Wow!!! Dying day took me through my paces. I experienced every emotion with this book. Happy, sad, mad and the list goes on. This is an outstanding final book to this series. I happened to stumble upon the first book in the series and I seriously devoured the rest of the books. I have been waiting on this final book for a while and I must say it did not disappoint. Excellent final book and excellent series!!

This whole series was just fantastic! I love the author, the writing is superb, the characters are wonderful, and the overall story was just great. I enjoyed every page, and I'm sorry the story had an end, but it was a gret ending too! I just love the way Ms. Kory writes, and I am so happy to have found her, and can't wait to start the next book - she's a great author!! If you want a really good book to sit down with, you will find it in her writing - very hard to put down!

I received an ARC of the book in exchange for an honest review. The author brings back characters old and new and makes sure to tie up any loose ends, although I felt it did leave open a possibility for future spin offs. The journey of Jesse and Alice does come to an end and wraps up their story line although I'm not sure it could be considered a happy ending it's what was required of the story. All things considered Ms Shrum kept her unspoken promise to her readers and wrapped up a beautiful series making sure to fill in any gaps or unanswered questions that the reader may have.
