Overview

Murder can be bad for business....

When Lexy Baker lands a high paying catering job that allows her to buy some much needed kitchen equipment, she's excited that things are going so well ... until she stumbles over the body of the bride-to-be.

Suddenly Lexy finds herself in a race against time to find the killer. Aided by four iPad toting amateur detective grandma's, her best friend and her little dog Sprinkles, Lexy finds the suspect list growing at every turn.

To make matters worse, the investigation is headed up by her hunky neighbor Detective Jack Perillo who she had been hot and heavy with - until he mysteriously stopped calling her several weeks earlier.

Add a handsome, rich bachelor who is also a suspect and seems to have designs on Lexy to the mix, and Lexy soon finds that things are not what they seem.

Will Lexy be able to catch the killer in time, or will she end up Dying for Danish?

>>Includes two recipes - one for homemade Danish from scratch and one for an easier version!

This is book 2 in the Lexy Baker Cozy Mystery Series, but you don't have to read them in order if you don't want to!

I truly LOVE the Lexy, Jack, and Ladies Detectives Club. Can't wait to read more. btw msg to someone who posted something about use of y'all - I am from and still live in the south, don't know anyone (including Doctors and Lawyers) who do not use y'all as a singular word.

I love this author's books - they are well-written and entertaining. The ONLY thing I disliked about it - and it's a minor thing - is the author had a character use the term "y'all" as a singular 'word'...Y'all is NEVER used as a singular term and anyone who has been in the South knows this. I think she made this error in another book too... I recommend this book. It's a good "lazy afternoon" read.

Lexy Baker has everything. Murder, mayhem, some laughs and some ladies I can identify with. And, oh yeah, some romance without having to read every detail. Really enjoy all her different series and when I finish one book, can't wait to read the next.

Much more suspense and overall written better. Altho its annoying to purchase a 105 page book and almost 15 pages are about the author. Chapter one was nothing more than a copyright! The book actually started at chapter 2.

This was a little better than the last one. It was not as rushed, but still rushed. I did enjoy this book though I figured out who did it at the beginning.

Holding strong opinions about things you simply do not understand is wrong and to use it in this instance is even more wrong yes I will say in certain situations you should not use the word y'all but everyone that I know that's from the South uses yall my parents and my husband and everyone else so stop holding strong opinions about things you don't understand get a grip on life it's just a word it doesn't mean anything
