About the Author

Garry Potter is the author of The Bet: Truth in Science, Literature and Everyday Knowledges and The Philosophy of Social Science: New Perspectives. He also is the author of "Power and Knowledge: A Dialectical Contradiction", "Humanism and Terror: Merleau-Ponty's Marxism" and numerous other scholarly articles, as well being co-editor of the book: After Postmodernism. Currently he is Director of Graduate Studies in the Department of Sociology, Wilfrid Laurier University.
