This album continues to show how gifted Mariah Carey is as a singer, songwriter and person. This album continues to show the best in her songs, but also flares it up with songs like Side Effects, and For the Record. Great Album.

This album is off the chain! I am a huge fan of Mariah Carey and she sings very well on this album. There are the upbeat songs such as Touch My Body, Migrate, I'm That Chick, I'll be Lovin You Long Time, and O.O.C. Then there are a few slow songs such as I Stay In Love, Love Story, Last Kiss, and I Wish You Well. On a whole this album is awesome!

Poor Mariah...she just can't seem to make two great albums in a row. E=MC2 sounds like scraps from the MIMI album sessions. Once again she trys Beyonce's staccato style vocals, but goes off the deep end this time around by hardly singing at all. A shameful follow up her great last album.

E=MC^2 isn't really 'The Emancipation of Mimi, Part 2' it's been made out to be. This is a completely different album for the most part, but I haven't decided yet if it's as good as or better than "Mimi". There are a lot of strong singles on this one that should produce at least one more #1 hit. Aside from "Touch My Body" and "Bye Bye" "which stays away from being too saccharine due to a slightly uptempo beat", other standouts are "Migrate" "great beat, very catchy, fun lyrics", "Cruise Control", and "I'll Be Lovin' U Long Time" and "I Wish You Well", which remind me of the old-school Mariah sound. The lyrics to a lot of the songs on this album are a little more heartfelt and there are less uptempo tracks, but no matter which side of Mariah you're partial to, there is a lot to love about "E=MC^2". Fans who prefer her ballads or her older albums will enjoy tracks like "Bye Bye", "I Wish You Well" and "Love Story", while those who prefer the fun, no-nonsense tracks will enjoy "Touch My Body", "Migrate", "Cruise Control" and "I'll Be Lovin' U Long Time". Other favorites of mine are "For The Record", "Side Effects" and "O.O.C.". I highly recommend "E=MC^2"!!

At first I hated every song EXCEPT Touch my Body and I only liked that because I was so happy she did another album. She could have sung goo goo gaa gaa and I would have loved it. However, one day, I sat down and really listened to every song in its entirety instead of hoping to hear something that sounded exactly like Emancipation of MIMI which I loooooved. I realized this CD is sizzlingly awesome. I love Love Story, Bye Bye, Side Effects, and I'm that Chick. Mariah is just too awesome for words.

This cd is incredible! It's incredible because it has both dance songs and slow songs. It is incredible because MeMe is finally spreading her butterfly wings and creating new and fascinating music the likes of which has never been heard by man before. I don't care how badly she treats people in real life or how self-centered people claim she is, it's only the music for her fans that matters and with this cd, she has given us more than we could ever repay! I luv U Mariah Carey - u are always gonna be my baby 3!

I feel like this cd does sound alot like her last one. I'll abmit I was expecting something different from her vocally but as usual she sounds the same on every track. However, when I listened to the entire cd, it was very good. If I like at least 5 songs on a cd then I consider it to be pretty good. I do recommend this cd!

Mariah Carey has done it again. She keeps amazing me with her music and lyrics. The haters can keep hating what do they know anyway. I love every song on the album. She did a great job a worthy follow up to her last smash hit.

I like this album just as much as Emancipation. I like how Mariah Carey has a strong number of uptempo and fun numbers on here, especially Migrate, Cruise Control, OOC, I'll Be Lovin' You Long Time, For the Record and others. Touch My Body is very melodic and nicely done. I also liked Bye Bye and her ode to the people we've lost or passed away. Jermaine Dupri is superb on the numbers he produced for Mariah, but I liked what Bryan Michael Cox, Danja, Stargate, will.i.am, and some others produced on here too. It has a strong R&B/hip-hop patchwork on here. For once, she's not doing the same kind of big over the top ballads she's famous for. She's having fun for a change.

After listening to the album's snippets, it is clear that E=MC2 is underwhelming and derivative with little regard to art, innovation or creativity. Clearly the goal of this CD is to appeal to the most people and make the most money possible. After nearly 2 decades in the business, you would think Ms. Carey would get bored making this tripe. But it seems Ms. Carey is more concerned with maintaining her "diva" status and less concerned with her musical legacy.

Destined to rule the R&B Charts for the next 2 years " At least " , is the latest glorious effort by songstress "They call the wind Mariah " Carey . MC Squared picks up where Mimi left off, only better. From Club Anthems such as "Touch My Body" and "Migrate" , to the soul classic sound of "I'm That Chick", this album has it all. Not to mention the ballad "Bye Bye", which is the reason why there are shows like American Idol, and is sure to be her next # 1 song. Mariah Carey may have been all Butterflies and Rainbows in the past , but she is now a bonafide R&B Queen, showing artist longevity and career flexibility. We must also not forget that she is one amazing songwriter, crafting original pure pop perfection. Our "Daydream" girl has finally woken up and grown up, and with this new album will secure her place as an American pop icon. Is it too soon to induct her into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame ?

If you love Mariah Carey, then you will definitely not be disappointed with E=MC2. I was very excited for this albumn to come out and it lived up to all my expectations. Bye Bye is my favorite song and I listen to it all the time. Of course there are other great songs as well, including I'll Be Lovin U Long Time and I Stay in Love. Check out her singles on-line or buy the albumn. Either way, you won't be disappointed.

I own all of mariah's albums and this one is definately one of her more "Safe" albums. She played it safe by working with well-known producers and songwriters in the industry. She followed Jordin Sparks and Rihanna and Chris Brown by working with Stargate and kept in league with Janet by working with Jermaine Dupri. Vocally she has never lost it! Glad to see this album doesn't contain any explicit lyrics. I have a feeling that "Migrate" featuring T-pain will be a hit! This is one of her better post-Sony albums. I like it better than "The Emancipation of Mimi." If you enjoyed some of mariah's previous efforts you'll probably like "E=mc2." Hopefully this album won't be a flop!!

What can we say about Mariah other than she is absolutely, unmistakingly, OUTSTANDING!!! This album is FIRE, there is no way that it wont rule the charts and just reasure her status as the biggest selling female artist of all time!

Sadly, the follow up to Emancipation of Mimi was a mistake. If you love upbeat, funky songs than E=MC2 has little if any tracks like that. If you like slow songs there's plenty but they are very bland. Now the album starts out good and thing Mariah has done a great job but from there the album loses faith. The album does hold back in the end but it doesn't deliver.

This album has everything from ballads to upbeat danceable songs. I love every single second of it. It's amazing. She's amazing. Keep up the great work Mimi. You're an amazing artist.

I just want to say to all the haterz you are just mad because she dedicated "I Wish You Well" to you!!!! She is still an amazing Artist, vocally and especially lyrically....There's not a melody she cannot hum, not a beat she cant sing over...its been proven....While some people are just mad she doesn't keep singing ballads like in the 90's..she's just experimenting with her craft,,,I think she inspires many to want to take it beyond the limit..she does everytime, vpcally & lyrically! Get the CD!!!! And when you do , check out #14...Mariah throws many blessings out with this one! God is using her and she is allowing him!!.Go Mariah, way to spread the Gospel!! :"

I just bought this album and i like it

Mariah has a phenominal voice and we all remember her first couple albums where her voice was what sold the song(s). This new album sounds too "dance club-ish" with a lot of background music and hip hop effects that do not let Mariah's voice shine front and center. I guess I will keep playing her old music. Won't be buying this one.
