This sequel to The Eagle Has Landed is just as interesting and intense as the first. The Eagle Has Flown grabs your attention from the get go. It is full of suspense and you never want to put it down. Liam Devlin is one of those characters that you just can't forget about. Jack Higgins is awesome.

Definitely one of Higgins's best, and in my opinion, better than It's prequel "The eagle has Landed"! Very thrilling, it'll hold your attention until the final sentence! I strongly recommend!!!

While it doesn't have the original feeling as the first book, it certainly lives up to it. Jack Higgins was able to take all the good stuff from the first book, and use it in another great story. It's one of the best books I've read, and well worth the time I spent reading over and over.

This was an attempt by Higgins to recreate the scene of The Eagle has landed, and duplicate it's success. However, this is a mere shadow of that book. The Himmler vs. Hitler, and Steiner escaping to save Hitler from being assassinated was not presented very well. Rather, it seemed like author rushed to finish this book. Below par, for his usual standard.
