Witches and science-fiction? Definitely count me in. That’s the main reason why I wanted to review Earth Cell, and I loved it from start to end. The league of Cells and the Witches Guild have worked together to maintain order and stability across the countless worlds of the overweb. The world-building is extremely impressive, and it’s the part of the book that I enjoyed the most. Maels Rapotri, our main character, struggles to fulfill his dream of serving as a warden. When Earth Cell is threatened, Maels must face the ultimate test, and he may discovers that even all those years of training might not have been enough. Maels is an intriguing character. He has flaws, he’s struggling, he’s interesting. But like I mentioned, it’s the word building that truly impressed me. There are new, different races, new rules, even a new language. Obviously a lot of thought went into creating the world of “Earth Cell”, and it shows. The writing was solid too, and I can’t wait for the second book in the Ux-Blood Trilogy. Meanwhlie, if you’re looking for a captivating and refreshing science fiction novel, then try this one. I received a free copy of this book in exchange for an honest review.

I am reviewing this book and giving an honest review for the author Charles Brass and originally for Paranormal Romance And Authors That Rock. This is book 1 of the SciFi book series Ux-Blood Trilogy by the author. Maels has been training to be a warden for 6 years but he has not yet gotten to where he needs to be. When Earth is threatened Meals faces his final show down to prove he either has what it takes to help save Earth or he doesn't. I am not into too much Scifi books but this book proved to be more interesting then most of them I have read. The characters and the story line were thrilling and there is enough drama and action to make it worth the read. Now this book is not for everyone but if you are a Scifi book reader then you might just want to take a chance and get this book into your collection.
