Mary Pope Osborne writes a lot of Magic Tree House books. One of my favorites is Earthquake in the Early Morning. The characters are Jack and Annie. They go to San Francisco in 1906 when there was a big earthquake. They travel back in time in their magical tree house. I liked this book because it was exciting. by Tahj - a 3rd grader

I had to read this book, because I love studying about the 1906 earthquake in San Fransisco. The story includes many stable facts about the true event, and brings to life the tragedy in a way that a textbook cannot (for young readers). I thoroughly enjoyed it myself!
