I appreciated and enjoyed this book for elementary age children. I am a Speech/Language Therapist and use vocabulary from this book to develop and explain the Easter season. Many children today have no knowledge of holiday origin or understand why we celebrate specific holidays. I liked this book because it tells children the religious meaning of Easter and then explains how people celebrate Easter in a secular way. The pages show colorful images and the text is an appropriate number of words to keep the children's attention. It is a simple and direct way to explain the Easter celebration!
