The author starts off well but seems mired in an almost pathological hatred of Kant. He is so cursory on Eastern philosophy and ignores ao much of Western thought that a more apt tie might have been "I hate German philosophy...and by the way, there are other philosophers." Thankfully it is free so reading coats you nothing but time.

Odd, opinionated take on things.

I thought this book would be some of the best words of wisdom from philosophers of the East and West, but instead we get a comedian's (the author) inturpretation of what he thinks the philosophers were saying and how they lived. Think if Robin Williams did a stand-up comedy act on philosophy and you have this book. This is not for serious people wanting to expand their minds.

I found this material extremely entertaining to read! He broke these lofty ideals down in a relateable way that was easy to understand; which is not an easy feat! Totally relateable laugh out loud funny! I wish he were my philosophy professor!
