These stories are told in many styles. Some writers have been drawn back to memories from long forgotten times; the life they once lived, or observations of families and friends. Explore the emotional connections, at the very core, with keen insights that are not all black and white. Understand, that the writers are the rays of light, passing through the darkness, resonating long after the final page is turned. ---M. Rita Tiso
In the WritersBloc Anthology IV you will find both traditional noir stories and new twists on the themes of murder and mayhem brought forward into the digital world of today. So, hang on to your fedora, gentle reader, turn the page to find an Eastern Shore unlike the one in which you live, where the shadows move on their own, and prepare to dodge bullet, knife, and noose! —Andy Nunez , VP Writers Bloc

About the Author
The Bloc was started many years ago by Dr. Gianni Hayes with the intention of helping make better writers of those who wished to be better writers. Our group of dedicated members meet regularly to discuss our writing and help each other gauge how our writing is progressing. It is one of our most precious benefits to being a member; honesty. We'll tell you exactly how we feel about a piece of work. It is all designed to allow the author to think about how the work affects the readers; and our readers know how to express themselves. We hope our website will both answer your questions about The Writers Bloc of the Eastern Shore and be an invitation for you to join us at our monthly meetings every third Saturday of the month, from 1 pm to 3 pm in meeting room #3 of the Wicomico Public Library.
