I highly recommend this book for beginners like myself. It is organized well, lays out exactly what you will need to complete any project, and is beautifully photographed. I introduced my mother to the book as well and she was able to complete all of the example projects she attempted with ease. I wouldn't have thought that this would be a craft that I would have an interest in because the resulting projects looked time consuming and complicated. But with the templates and excellent tips, it is just the opposite. I would suggest this book to anyone that can handle the dremel tool and I look forward to a follow up book for the intermediate etcher.
