I don't do diets. I find them complicated and not practical long-term. This book is easy to follow with simple but informative suggestions. The best part for me is the little to no-cook meals and snacks at the end of the book. They're quick and delicious and perfect for a busy mom with a toddler. You won't regret buying this book!

I can't believe I'm actually writing a review... I never have time for things like this but I really enjoyed this book and wanted to spread the word. I own my own business and I'm often working long hours and weekends. I've never been a breakfast person (does coffee count as breakfast?) but I've started to "munch every morn" as suggested in the book and I've found my energy is better and I'm more focused throughout the day. Most of all, it's a quick read and provides tons of information I can actually use. I highly recommend this book!

Great time-saving strategies in this book. I love to cook but I don't always have time, especially when I'm working really long days. The quick and easy meal ideas are perfect for me and there's loads of interesting tips on different topics -- like when to buy organic and how to handle travel days and work events. I bought several copies for gifts too!

I tell my clients to read this book... As a veteran fitness trainer in LA, I have tons of successful, busy clients who want to look and feel their best all the time. Many of my clients skip meals thinking they'll lose weight faster... and then they can't keep up with my intense workouts, or they eat too much of the wrong kinds of foods and wonder why their not reaching their goals. I love this book because it's packed with practical tips to keep my clients energized with healthy foods to fuel their daily workouts and long-term health. I highly recommend this book!

This book is just not for the career gal or the soccer mom. It is a great read for the active Senior Citizen group. It is written clearly and concisely. You do not need to wade through page after page to extract the information that you will really be using. It has great snack suggestions that youi can carry on the run. Best part - after 40+ years of chopping and dicing and steaming and sauteing, all of the menus are void of the above --- YEAH!! This book will make the perfect gift for the upcoming holidays for many of my friends.

This book is perfect for someone like me -- I don't cook, never have, and (at age 43) don't expect to start. Sorry, but I grew up in the era of convenience food and it's all I really know. With specific suggestions about how much sodium to look for in a frozen meal, calorie counts for fast food & cocktails, "recipes," sample meal plans, and tips for portion control, dealing with cravings & special situations, this book covers pretty much anything you might encounter. I'm so thrilled someone finally wrote a book for those of us who don't cook but still want to eat well. I may buy a lot of pre-packaged or single serving food, but I still want to be healthy. I highly recommend!

I have struggled with keeping my energy balanced and often wondered the best foods to eat when I'm running around teaching, working on my business, or doing errands for the family. I love the meal ideas in this book and now I always carry healthy on-the-go snacks with me -- usually nuts, dried veggies and whole-food bars. I make sure I eat something every three to five hours. I have more energy than ever before and I've found it's also helped with my overall mood. I feel like I'm eating more often and I'm back to body I had 20 years ago -- thank you God!

My work often has me traveling more days a month than I'm home. It can be extremely challenging trying to eat healthy in airports, hotel rooms and restaurants. I found the strategies and meal ideas in this book to be extremely helpful... I have more energy and feel more balanced overall. I'm even sleeping better and I've lost a few pounds. I particularly enjoyed Chapter 7 with tips on how to handle business travel and the on-the-go meal plans are great. A must read for any busy professional!

This book does exactly what it promises. It gives simple solutions to all of our questions....regarding calories, snacks, exercise, meal ideas...I already see changes since implementing the secrets of this book into my life! Believe me, I've read every diet book, watched every diet show & video, tried so many plans & programs and spent zillions of dollars on finding diet solutions and I feel strongly this book will end the madness...I finally found a book that I can use as a bible for all my weight-loss needs and I can throw out all the others!
