Karen Kingham is a practicing dietitian with more than 15 years clinical and research experience in the field of nutrition. She holds a B.S. Physiology, a Masters in Nutrition and Dietetics and has undertaken additional study in the area of Early Childhood Nutrition. She works as a consultant, providing nutrition services to private hospitals, food industry and the media. She lives in Sydney, Australia.

This cookbook is informative and explains diabetes in a way that most people will understand. It is not as technical as some books so you won't be bogged down with detailed information that's difficult to understand. I didn't care for some of the recipes, but that's just me; however, there were enough other yummy sounding recipes to choose from that were appealing. While I am not diabetic, I like making recipes that are healthy and this cookbook makes that goal possible. There aren't a lot of "weird" ingredients you have to buy, but mostly basic ingredients you might already have in your cupboard. Take a look at this book and decide for yourself as we all have different tastes and likes.
