Ok, so I still love Scarlet and Sean and I even love them together, but yes, I still want to yell and scream at them as well. This story had a few more twist than the other, and the ending just made me want to rip out my hair. Cliffhanger, I can't wait to read what's next!

Dark, dysfunctional often heartbreaking for the characters, E.L. Todd’s Edge of Love is a twisted and jagged journey of misunderstandings, control, secrets. Sean and Scarlett have been best friends for years, now they are lovers, in love, they claim, neither has an inkling of what a healthy relationship is as once again, and then again, they end up at odds with each other over issues that should be non-issues. Sean appears to be turning into a complete control freak, using both his anger, withdrawal of affection and even lack of sex to punish Scarlett, all that without even knowing if he has a reason! Scarlett’s wishes are denied in favor of his own in situations that will make her uncomfortable. This time out, Scarlett did everything but carry a sign that says “trample my heart here.” Even their “sex talk” seems to harbor negativity, passive aggressive behavior? Who knows? If you are looking for a relationship guide on what counts as unhealthy in a relationship, this addition to the series is perfect. I did finish the book and have always been a big fan of E.L. Todd, but Edge of Love took me too far out of my comfort zone to continue to relate to or have a sympathetic feel for any of the characters, this time out. I like darkness, I understand that relationships all have their own quirks, but for me, the sex fell flat, was too clichéd and too often and the plot suffered for it. I received this copy from E. L. Todd in exchange for my honest review.

I read book #1 and book #2 in this series, but book #3 had me to the point of being nauseated. I felt that the Author was just trying to fill space by all of the "I love you" and "I love you too's" in this book. There were WAY to many of them. The story seemed to ramble instead of flow, and was actually corny. I became bored with it. I won't be reading book #4
