Overview

A MOSSAD assassin who has lost her cover, Sydney is hiding in Florida. Syd thinks it's her lucky day when a handsome stranger at the next table helps her dispatch two Iranian terrorists that attack her at a restaurant. She is pleased to find out that Hatch Lincoln is a very rich and powerful man -- CEO of a dozen companies, including the enigmatic Intelligence International, Inc. (Triple Eye). Fearing Syd is still in trouble, Hatch takes her to his Florida mansion. Syd soon finds herself engulfed in Hatch's secret world of intrigue, one of high-tech equipment and weapons used to search out and neutralize terrorists worldwide.

When a Triple Eye employee is killed while buying a mysterious letter from a dig outside Rome, Syd finds herself swept into a dangerous, whirlwind adventure. She accompanies Hatch to Rome to investigate, and while in Hatch's medieval castle, she finds herself fighting along side Hatch against a vicious Italian crime family, the Sicilian Mafia, and a CIA boss who wants Hatch dead. When an assassin's bullet leaves Hatch in a coma, Syd must use all her training, experience, and the high-tech tools of Hatch's empire to find the assassin before he strikes again.

If you are in for a book that makes you feel like grabbing a smoke and taking off in a state-of ¿the-art plane with a sexy secret agent to right the world, then the Edge Of Tomorrow will get you there. The book is an intriguing combination of fast paced romance and state-of-the-art action adventure. The characters move in a setting of current day world politics to confront a terrorist enemy using the latest ¿not yet in production¿ military technology. The author obviously has a great imagination that must be linked to in-depth knowledge of forefront technology. He also must possess a great deal of experience in high roller romance and the entire atmosphere that comes with serious jet setting. If you are looking for a can¿t put it down book, the Edge Of Tomorrow¿ is a must read.

Have just completed reading ¿Edge of Tomorrow¿ by Wolf Wootan. Where has this author been hiding? He has really done his research for this fast-moving story of intrigue and adventure and it is among the best I have ever read. No one will guess the ending. A complete surprise! Wootan has assembled a cast of characters that seem like real people, and the dialog is exceptional. Cannot wait for further adventures of Hatch, Syd, and the team of Triple Eye.

Anyone who reads thrillers or romantic suspense novels will want to read this fascinating adventure. It¿s like a ride on a runaway train. Its antiterrorism theme is both compelling and appropriate for today¿s international climate. Most characters (¿bigger than life¿ some call them) in high-tech spy novels are often two-dimensional (flat). Wootan has deftly developed his characters into three-dimensional real people: they go to piano bars; they sing; they dance; they do real people things. The reader has a chance to evaluate their value systems and their morality. The characters and scenes are so well-drawn that I could not only visualize the characters, but also the settings they lived in. The dialog is crisp and matches the speaker. I felt as if I were in the room with them. Everything is so real. The people, the places, the action. Do not start this book unless you can allot time to read it. It is impossible to put down. The climatic ending caught me by surprise. Breathtaking! Move over Ludlum and Coonts!

A friend told me about this book, highly recommending it. Once I started it, I found myself reading until 3 A.M. every night. Hatch and Syd are the most exciting and interesting spies I have ever read about. Their adventures span the globe: Florida, Rome, Istanbul, Iran, Israel, Greece, Sicily. The descriptions of these places were as fascinating as the violent situations the heroes found themselves in. The exciting adventures are a backdrop for a heart-pounding love story. My kind of book! I hated when it ended. It would make a great movie.

A real page turner! Hard to put down! From beginning to end, Wolf Wootan's new spy thriller is an enormously fast-paced read. Hatch Lincoln and Sydney Steppe are fascinating heroes and the author's knowledge of the high-tech world we live in puts him on par with the best of Clancy. I can't wait for the next book to come from the pen of this extremely talented writer.

Edge of Tomorrow by Wolf Wootan is an incredible mix of adventure, mystery, and hi-tech fiction. Since I am an avid fan of all three subjects, I couldn't resist diving into the world of Triple-Eye. Mr. Wootan has the ability to bring a level of technology to his stories while also keeping his readers along for the ride. Other authors have tried and failed where the Edge of Tomorrow succeeded. As a member of the aviation community, I would like to applaud Mr. Wootan for the obvious amount of research necessary to create such a believable and interesting hi-tech background. I found myself actually believing in the possibility of a stealth helicopter hovering over the homes of terrorists undetected. I hope Edge of Tomorrow is just the beginning for Wolf Wootan. I am anxiously awaiting the next chapter in the lives of Hatch and Syd or anything else Mr. Wootan wishes to give us.
